The Elvetham has a long history of hosting infamous parties, it's believed that Shakespeare himself performed on this site for Elizabeth I at a pageant held in her honour. The Elvetham is delighted to continue the tradition of hosting fabulous events at this historic location

The Elvetham is a dog friendly venue and well-behaved dogs are welcome at FleetingDays

The Elvetham is the site where Eadric the Wild plotted against William the Conqueror in the 11th Century, where King John gathered his nobles in readiness for war with France in 1205, and where King Henry VIII fell in love with Jane Seymour, his third wife and mother of his longed-for heir
